Staying warm is what it's all about! This portable buddy heater will do the trick.
My tent is about 7 feet by 7 feet and not insulated. I used the Buddy Heater in -17 C and was more than comfortable. Mr Heater manufactures larger buddy heaters as well.
The heater is easy to light and use with just one easy-to-adjust button. I did have a few issues with the propane bottle freezing up. I think if I had placed the buddy heater on a plywood base instead of the snow it may not have been an issue. Instead we placed one bottle near enough to the heat source (not too close) to keep it from freezing and then changed them out when the bottle in use started to freeze.

Propane bottles freeze up sometimes
It is equipped with a few safety features such as an auto shut-off if tipped over, or if the pilot light goes out, or if detects low oxygen levels. As always, remember to keep your vents open to allow any fumes to escape and not accumulate. These heaters burn clean but there are still some fumes.
